Children's Martial Arts in West Hills
The Little Warriors Program is an age appropriate (4.5 to 7.5 yrs old) martial arts curriculum, specifically designed to meet the needs of younger children. The goal is to develop the child’s balance, focus skills, coordination, attention span, self control, and discipline, preparing them to attend the upper level karate class. Students learn basic skill and techniques through instruction that is made accessible for younger children, and through participation in developmental games.
The most obvious benefit of the Little Warriors is self defense. Students will learn how defend themselves in a situation where they are threatened by a bully or any other person intending to do them harm.
The Little Warriors program also has many physical benefits. Children improve motor skills, hand-eye coordination, mental and physical strength, along with greater flexibility and agility. The classes are a fun and engaging program and provides a safe place for children to channel pent up energy.

Why Should You Join?
The Little Warriors program will prepare your child for our Juniors Martial Arts program. The Little Warriors curriculum consists of the major skills that are necessary for participation in any sport or activity. Upon completion of our Little Warriors Program, your child will be more focused, show more discipline, be more respectful, and more motivated to achieve any goal they set for themselves! Taught are the basics of proper punching, kicking form, target work and age-appropriate self-defense techniques. Meditation is a major part of our program which leads to more self controll. Sometimes learning to sit still in meditation is more difficult than punching and kicking!
